SHUTTLE INFO

There is limited parking at PJ’s, so for safety and convenience, we recommend that you take the provided shuttle from Northstar to PJ’s. The shuttle departs from the Northstar Transit Center in Northstar Village. The first shuttle departs at 7:15pm; shuttle buses will be making loops from Northstar to PJ’s every ~ 15 minutes. The last bus back to Northstar will depart PJ’s at 10:45pm. Several shuttle buses stop at the Northstar Transit Center, so make sure you take the bus marked ‘Lizzie plus Jon.’

If you’re staying outside of the Village in the broader Northstar area, there’s a free shuttle to take you to and from Northstar Transit Center. NOTE: This shuttle only runs until 10pm on Thursday and Saturday, so plan your exit from PJ’s accordingly. We’ve extended it to 12:30am on Friday to accommodate the After Party. To call the shuttle, dial (530) 562-2257.

The Details

Our wedding will take place at Zephyr Lodge, at the top of Northstar Ski Resort. To ensure everyone is seated for the ceremony at 4:00pm, board the Big Springs Express Gondola between 2:45-3:15pm. (See Accommodations page for a map of where the gondola is within the Village. There are many signs around the Village as well.)

The gondola will take you to mid-mountain, where you will disembark and walk 200 feet to Tahoe Zephyr Express Chairlift. For this lift, you can choose between a 6-person chair and one of the gondolas. Just let the lift operator know if you prefer a gondola. Note: Everyone will take gondolas down the mountain at the end of the night for safety.

From the top of Tahoe Zephyr Express, you will walk another 200 feet to Zephyr Lodge and the ceremony site overlooking the surrounding mountains.

Gondolas run continuously from 10:00am until about 11:00 pm, and you may notice some mountain bikers in the lift lines until 4:00pm.

After the main event at Zephyr Lodge, we’d love for you to join us at The Alpine Club in Northstar Village for the after party from 10pm-12am. There will be signs from the bottom of the gondola to lead you there.

If you're staying the broader Northstar area, please note that the complimentary call-a-shuttle service runs until 12:30am. To call the shuttle, dial (530) 562-2257.

While we love your kiddos, our wedding will both be adults-only events.

Casual Beach Day + Tacos

2 - 6 PM

LOCATION: North Tahoe Beach Pavilion

Intersection of Route 267 and Route 28
(right across from the Safeway on Route 28)
Tahoe Vista, CA 96148

Everyone (kids included!) is invited to join us for a day-after party with tacos and drinks at North Tahoe Beach Pavilion. Bring a bathing suit if you plan to cool off or go SUP boarding in the lake. Bring your ID if you plan on drinking. We have reserved shaded space on the Pavilion; however, summers in Tahoe are very popular, so expect a crowd if the weather is nice. Feel free to come and go as you please. Lizzie + Jon beach towels are a gift from Grandma Hutchinson and Grandma Beck; please take a towel home when you depart!

A private shuttle will run between the Northstar Transit Center in Northstar Village and North Tahoe Beach starting at 1:30pm; the shuttle will run loops leaving Northstar every 30 minutes (2pm, 2:30pm, 3pm, etc.). The last shuttle returns to Northstar at 6pm. Driving is also straightforward -- just turn right onto Route 267 out of Northstar, then make a right on Route 28 when you hit the lake, and it's your very first left from there. If you decide to go early or stay late, the TART HWY 267 bus also runs between King’s Beach and Northstar. Please note: There is limited parking at the beach so we recommend you take the shuttle from Northstar Village.

Attire: Beachwear, swimwear, or whatever you’ll be comfortable in! (Weather Forecast)
